Welcome to the North London therapy practice.
Vick Powers is a BACP registered integrative therapist committed to guiding individuals through challenging times. Her objective is to assist clients in comprehending their current situation and empowering them to enact desired changes in their lives.
Vick offers a compassionate and non-judgmental environment, catering to those in crisis or simply needing a calm space to voice their concerns. She has extensive experience in addressing issues like anxiety, addictions, eating disorders, grief, family and financial problems, relationship difficulties, women's issues, trauma, and workplace challenges.
Drawing on her background as a journalist, Vick has honed her ability to listen deeply and empathetically, understanding the deeper meanings behind words. This skill is crucial in helping her clients uncover the root causes of their distress or problematic behaviors. She works with adults of all ages, providing therapy sessions online or over the phone.
In Vick's client-led therapy approach, clients direct the focus of each session, bringing forth issues they wish to explore. Vick facilitates this journey, offering guidance and support. Discussions may delve into past relationships to uncover insights into current behaviors and self-perception.
Her aim is to navigate clients through fear and emotional discomfort towards a sense of safety and contentment. In the therapeutic space she creates, clients are encouraged to express their thoughts and emotions openly. This process can transform seemingly insurmountable problems into manageable challenges, reducing their impact and enhancing overall well-being.
