Susie Travis
Integrative Counsellor

£65 Online

Welcome to our North London therapy and counselling practice in Finchley. I'm Susie, an integrative counsellor committed to supporting individuals through their journey of personal growth and emotional healing.

My practice specialises in addressing issues related to self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I have a particular interest in assisting students and young adults, as well as individuals dealing with the pressures of burnout, work stress, and navigating complex family dynamics.

In our sessions, I strive to offer a compassionate and non-judgemental environment, allowing you to explore your feelings and thoughts at your own pace. Whether you're processing a significant life event, feeling stuck or overwhelmed by current situations, or seeking to understand the influence of past experiences on your present, I am here to walk with you.

Our collaborative work may involve uncovering and transforming behaviours that no longer serve you, thereby enriching your relationship with yourself and enhancing your interactions with others.

Integrative Therapy Explained

My approach is integrative, blending elements from various therapeutic modalities to best meet your individual needs. This includes:

Humanistic Principles

The foundation of my practice, focusing on fostering personal growth and self-actualization through a client-centred approach.

Psychodynamic Therapy: A method that explores unconscious dynamics, past conflicts, and early life experiences to promote healing and enable a more satisfying present.

Transpersonal Therapy: An approach that incorporates spiritual dimensions for self-discovery, deeper connections, and holistic growth.

Qualifications & Experience

I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from the Mary Ward Centre London and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My experience spans a diverse range of clients, with a special focus on students and young adults.

In my practice, I draw upon my extensive background in addressing a wide array of concerns, including anxiety, self-esteem issues, depression, gender identity challenges, relationship dynamics, family issues, sexuality, burnout, ADHD, and trauma.

I offer online sessions nationwide, where I provide a warm, welcoming space for your therapy.
