Psychotherapist

Therapy sessions In-Person or Online £85

I am a UKCP accredited and BACP registered attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working across NHS services, private practice, and the voluntary sector. My extensive clinical experience has allowed me to support individuals from diverse backgrounds, facing a wide range of emotional, relational, and psychological challenges. I offer both open-ended psychotherapy and shorter-term counselling, tailoring the length and focus of our work to meet your individual needs and circumstances.

My training was completed at The Bowlby Centre, a leading organisation specialising in attachment-based psychotherapy. I also hold a BSc in Psychology and Counselling and initially trained as an integrative counsellor at City & Islington College, which provided me with a strong foundation in working across different therapeutic modalities. This breadth of experience allows me to draw on a range of approaches to best support each client, whilst maintaining a core focus on attachment and psychoanalytic understanding.

My approach is grounded in attachment theory and psychoanalytic principles, with a strong emphasis on the importance of relationships both past and present in shaping emotional and psychological wellbeing. I work collaboratively with clients to explore their internal world, unconscious processes, and relational patterns, helping to uncover the deeper-rooted causes of distress and difficulties they may be experiencing. Through this process, I aim to support clients in developing greater self-understanding, emotional resilience, and healthier relationships with themselves and others.
I believe therapy offers a unique opportunity to explore difficult thoughts and feelings in a safe and confidential space. Together, we can make sense of painful experiences, address recurring patterns of behaviour, and work towards lasting personal growth and change.

Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relational difficulties, or a general sense of being stuck, I aim to provide a compassionate and non-judgemental environment where you can feel truly heard and understood.
My practice is welcoming and inclusive, and I am experienced in working with people from a wide variety of cultural, social, and professional backgrounds. I am committed to creating a therapeutic relationship based on trust, collaboration, and respect, recognising the uniqueness of each person’s story and experiences.
