You might be coming to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure about what you need. You don’t have to have everything worked out. Therapy can be a place where you talk things through, feel understood, and begin to make sense of what’s been going on for you.
I work in a relational and supportive way, focusing on what feels most important for you. My main approach is Transactional Analysis, and I also work in a trauma-informed and relational way, paying attention to how past experiences, relationships, and patterns may still be affecting you now. I aim to work at your pace and in a way that feels safe and collaborative.
I’ve completed a Level 7 Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling and hold an MSc in Psychology. I also bring over 20 years of experience in education and psychology, which continues to inform my understanding of emotional development, attachment, and neurodivergence.
I work with adults and with children from age 5, including young people. I’m currently completing a Level 5 Certificate in Counselling Children and Young People, and I’ve also completed additional training in neuro-affirming practice and relational approaches, including work focused on trauma and relationships. I aim to offer a space where you feel respected, listened to, and not judged.
People come to therapy with me for many reasons, including anxiety, low mood, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, identity questions, neurodivergence, chronic illness, or significant life changes. Sometimes it’s simply about wanting to understand yourself better. Whatever brings you, we can explore it together.
