"Mental health is not an isolated issue, but one that is intertwined with broader societal structures."
I’m a fully registered BABCP psychotherapist with two master’s degrees in psychology and psychotherapy, and completion of Compassionate Inquiry training with Dr. Gabor Maté. I have a wide-ranging clinical expertise in both private and NHS settings, holding senior, clinical supervisor, and lead roles. My approach is compassionate and trauma-informed, and I offer both face-to-face and video therapy for adults and families in North London. I have worked in both primary and secondary care, including as inpatient clinical lead for specialist trauma services, and provide training, consultancy, and clinical supervision in NHS and private mental health hospitals across London. This experience gives me a deep understanding of trauma recovery and holistic care, ensuring that the therapy I offer meets your specific needs.
If you’ve been carrying the weight of anxiety, trauma, or emotional pain, asking for support is a courageous first step. I’m here to offer you a warm, non-judgmental space where we can work together to understand and heal what has been holding you back. My goal is to support you as you move toward a life with greater peace, connection, and emotional resilience. I’ve worked with a diverse range of people, and understand how culture can shape the experience and expression of trauma. I approach each person with deep respect for their unique experiences, knowing that healing is both personal and profoundly linked to the larger contexts of our lives and communities.
While CBT is my primary therapeutic model, I specialise in utilising trauma-focused interventions, such as Compassionate Inquiry (CI) and combining them with therapeutic modalities such as Exposure-Response Prevention, CFT, DBT, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and others. Using CI, we’ll gently explore the deeper layers of your experiences, gently uncovering the root causes of your struggles. Together, we’ll work to create a path forward, we’ll begin to understand not just the symptoms, but the root causes, working towards real healing.
I also have a strong interest in the mind-body connection and incorporate somatic techniques to support emotional healing. If you’ve experienced complex trauma, dissociative experiences, or emotional dysregulation, my trauma-focused work can help you regain stability and connection to yourself.
