Shyla Badiani: Psychotherapeutic Counsellor

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to cope with what life is bringing up, therapy can offer a supportive and non-judgmental space to begin exploring what’s going on. You may be experiencing emotional distress, navigating complicated relationships, or feeling the lingering impact of earlier life experiences. Perhaps you’re feeling unsettled, disconnected, or weighed down by patterns that no longer serve you. Many people come to therapy when these difficulties begin to feel difficult to manage alone. It can feel isolating or confusing, especially when you’re not sure where they begin or how to move forward.

Emotional and physical wellbeing are deeply connected and equally impactful on overall health. Therapy provides space to slow down, notice patterns, and gently increase awareness and self-understanding. With greater understanding often comes more choice, clarity, and steadiness.

While working in private practice, I have supported individuals through complex emotional experiences and significant life changes. You will be met as a whole person, with respect for the experiences, values and influences that have shaped you. Therapy is offered with openness and sensitivity for the many ways people experience and make sense of their lives.

Sessions are tailored to your individual needs, drawing from different therapeutic approaches to support the work in a way that feels right for you. Whether you’re seeking to heal past wounds, navigate current stressors, or find greater meaning in your life, I’m here to help you move forward at your own pace.

I offer both online sessions and in-person therapy at locations in Finchley, and Hampstead.

Sessions are £65, with limited concession spaces available for individuals on a low income. If you’d like to discuss how we might work together, I offer a free 20-minute consultation to answer any questions and explore your goals for therapy.
