About My Practice
Seeking therapy can feel like a significant step, whether you are struggling with a specific difficulty, experiencing challenges in your relationships, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply.
As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I provide a calm, confidential, and non-judgemental space where we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences together. My work is based on the understanding that our past relationships and life experiences can continue to influence how we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate the world, often in ways that lie outside of our awareness.
Through therapy, we can begin to make sense of recurring patterns, unresolved emotional difficulties, and aspects of yourself that may feel confusing or difficult to understand. Developing a deeper understanding of these patterns can help create opportunities for meaningful and lasting change.
Clients commonly come to therapy for support with:
• Anxiety and depression
• Relationship difficulties
• ADHD
• Low self-esteem and self-confidence
• Life transitions and periods of change
• Feeling stuck, lost, or overwhelmed
• Repetitive patterns in relationships
• A desire for greater self-understanding
These are only some examples, and I welcome enquiries from anyone who is interested in exploring their experiences in greater depth.
I tailor therapy to each individual, recognising that no two people are the same. My aim is to provide a thoughtful and supportive therapeutic relationship where you feel able to explore difficult experiences at a pace that feels manageable for you.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in accordance with its ethical framework and professional standards.
If you feel that therapy may be helpful, I welcome you to get in touch to discuss how we might work together.
