Psychotherapy and Clinical Supervision
With over 20 years' experience as a psychotherapist working with adults, children and adolescents with a range of mental health needs and conditions, I am committed to supporting your wellbeing and mental health with understanding, empathy and compassion.
At North London Therapy Practice, I work online and in person with individuals who value a quieter, calm space to explore their challenges. I believe that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is key to the success of therapy, and I offer a compassionate and open space to begin your journey.
I use an integrative approach, meaning that I draw on various models of therapy including psychodynamic and person-centred approaches to facilitate transformation, growth and well-being.
I am registered with the HCPC and am a full member of BAMT. I am also a registered mental health practitioner with the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM) and work with professional musicians, performing artists and students struggling with issues relating to anxiety, depression, performance anxiety, stress, interpersonal dynamics, trauma, PTSD and eating disorders.
Book a free 20-minute telephone conversation to discuss your needs and whether music therapy could be helpful for you.

I can also offer Music Therapy. What is Music Therapy?
Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualised goals within a therapeutic relationship by a registered professional who has completed an approved, post-graduate Music Therapy training programme. It is a well-established allied health profession that uses music therapeutically to address behavioural, social, emotional psychological, communicative, physical, sensory-motor, and cognitive functioning.
Music interventions can be utilised as part of therapy, and you can choose to use music, talk or both. Music can provide non-verbal expression and can help people process, understand and even regulate their emotions.
In the United Kingdom, Music Therapists must be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council, and most are also members of the British Association for Music Therapy.
