Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
In-Person & Online Therapy sessions £70
I am a compassionate psychotherapeutic counsellor with a unique combination of expertise in counselling and nutritional therapy. With a degree in Nutritional Therapy and a diploma in Psychotherapeutic Integrative Counselling, I adopt a holistic approach to wellbeing, seamlessly integrating mental health support with nutritional guidance.
Specialisations
My practice focuses on addressing both emotional and physiological challenges, such as:
Stress, anxiety, and depression
Emotional complexities linked to food and eating habits
Chronic conditions, including IBS, diabetes, autoimmune disorders, and other long-
term illnesses
Disordered eating and navigating a healthier relationship with food
The profound connection between nutrition and mental health underscores my belief that effective counselling is vital for individuals struggling with food-related concerns or
disordered eating.
Therapeutic Approach
I practice Integrative Humanistic Therapy, which combines different modules that are built on different theoretical approaches (such as psychodynamic, behavioural, and humanistic). An integrative approach is grounded in the belief that no single modality is sufficient to address the unique needs of every client. Instead, I tailor my methods to suit each individual, offering a flexible and personalised therapeutic experience.
Whether you are seeking support to manage stress, process difficult emotions, or develop healthier relationships with food, I offer a safe and non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings. Together, we can work towards greater self-awareness and a deeper understanding of the interplay between emotions, behaviours, and nutrition.
Experience
I have extensive experience in mental health support, having worked with a mental health charity to guide individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, low mood, low self-esteem, anger and other emotional difficulties. Additionally, I have provided counselling services at a cancer support centre, helping individuals and their families navigate the psychological and emotional challenges of a cancer diagnosis and treatment journey.
I also offer therapy in Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian.
