Professional Background
Originally trained in person-centred therapy (PCT), Christie combines a warm, empathic, and non-judgemental approach using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to help her clients. Christie is also trained in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). Her aim is to help clients understand their problems and make meaningful changes. Christie provides a supportive space for those struggling to express emotions or process difficult events and offers structured, goal-oriented techniques for those seeking solutions to specific issues. She is dedicated to creating a comfortable and personalised therapeutic experience for each client, helping them grow and live fulfilling lives.
Christie is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). She joined Priory in 2021 as an integrative psychotherapist, working with adults, young people, and primary school children in various settings. Christie conducts one-on-one sessions and CBT group therapy, both online and in-person, at Priory Hospital North London, supporting inpatients and outpatients alike.
